Elements of Art Journal Assignment

 

The food packaging I choose that utilizes the elements of art is a bottle of Fairlife chocolate milk. Throughout the packaging all the elements of art such as line, shape, form, space, size and color are included. The bottle caught my attention due to the different hues and values of brown used, along with the form of a cow's head placed in the center of the bottle. Throughout the packaging there are five different shades of brown that create contrast between the different sections of information displayed on the bottle. Surrounding the logo and the text, the negative space draws your eye right to the center of the bottle and the background isn't distracting. With the name of the company 'fairlife' being displayed in a lowercase font and including an explanation mark in place of the I, the company presents itself in a welcoming and approachable sense.
